Things to do on Gozo
Here is a list of other activities that we can arrange for you during your stay on Gozo. If there is something particular you would like to find out more about but it does not appear on the list, please ask, we may be able to organise it for you.
We have not given prices for the activities as they are all seasonal.
Diving at Gozo
Malta and Gozo are renowned for the spectacular and easily accessible diving. It is one of the few country’s left now with the permit to allow unaccompanied diving for the qualified (you have to be at least PADI Open Water Advanced) diver. The island is full of dive shops, and we can recommend the best centre to suit your personal needs and situation.
Walking on Gozo
There are a variety of country and coastal walks on and around Gozo, and we recommend walking boots and a pole or walking stick if you are wanting to explore the country routes.

Private boat charters
There are several private boats that can be hired exclusively for you and your party. The excursions will take you around the islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino. Entering the Grand Harbour in Malta by boat is absolutely breathtaking and an experience not to be missed.
Land and Sea Tour
This tour explores Gozo by both land and sea. Looking at the island from a boat will allow a perspective that can only be appreciated from the sea.
Regular, sightseeing trips by seaplane leave the harbour at Mgarr offering a truly magnificent and exciting experience. Skimming above the crystal clear waters and seeing the whole Maltese archipelago from the air. Breath taking views and a trip that will simply enthral you. Don't forget to take your camera.
We can organise BBQ's on both Comino and Hondoq. A regular BBQ is held on a Wednesday night on Comino where dancing is included as part of the evening. The beautiful blue lagoon is flood lit allowing a pleasant, evening swim.
Probably one of the most popular excursions available on Gozo. Your guide will take you from one end of the island to the other taking in all of the tourist attractions in one day and even finding time for lunch and a swim in the popular fishing village, Xlendi. Jeep safaris can include walking and picnics.
1 ¼ hours of pure exhilaration and fun, on a quad bike. A guide will accompany you and the cost includes helmet hire and insurance for you and a passenger.
We can arrange 1 hour and 3 hour hacks around the village of Qala on horseback. Riding hats are provided.
Sailing and wind surfing
There is a small, but well supported, sailing club on Gozo where we can hire dinghies and wind surf boards for both the experienced and novice sailors.
There are 6 recognised climbing sites, inland, on Gozo and several parts of the coastline which allow climbing to be carried out. This offers a diverse range of ability requirements and a big adrenalin rush when climbing on the coast.
A new and exciting sport whereby you climb along the stunning coastline, over the water. When you feel you cannot go any further you let go and fall into the crystal clear sea. A guide will be on hand to find routes that suit your ability and to ensure your safety at all times.
Cycling and Mountain Biking
Mountain bikes are available for hire and you can explore the island on your own by bike or we can arrange a guide to show you the tracks and pathways suitable for cycling along
